Dan Pashk Dani
After living in Germany for twelve years, Catholic priest, Dan Pashk Dani, returned to Mitrovica two years ago.
The minority of Catholic Albanians living in Mitrovica is very small. Before the war in 1999, this minority was about 2,000 people. During and after the war, many Catholics moved away from Mitrovica, to places such as Croatia. As a result, this minority is nowadays a small group of approximately 80 people.
The current Catholic Church of Mitrovica was built in 1975.
According to Dan Pashk Dani, you cannot deny the fact that there are problems in the city of Mitrovica. Yet he is optimistic about the future:
“Mitrovica is a tough bone for all of Europe, but I see hope. Absolutely.”

Pasi që jetoi 12 vjet në Gjermani ai u kthye në Mitrovicë 2 vite më parë.
Minoriteti i katolikëve shqiptarë në Mitrovicë është shumë i vogël. Para luftës në 1999 minoriteti kishte afër 2000 njerëz. Gjatë dhe pas luftës katolikët u larguan nga Mitrovica, për shembull u zhvendosën në Kroaci. Për atë arsye grupi minoritar tani ka përafërsisht 80 njerëz.
Kisha katolike e Mitrovës ishte ndërtuar në vitin 1975.
Bazuar në pohimet e Dan Pashk Danit nuk mund të kundërshtoni faktin se qyteti i Mitrovicës ka probleme. Megjithatë ai është optimist për të ardhmen.

Заједница католичких Албанаца у Митровици је јако мала. Пре рата 1999. Године, ова ѕаједница је бројала око 2000 људи. Током и после рата, многи католици су се преселили из Митровице у Хрватску, на пример. Због тога, ова заједница се данас састоји од групе од отприлике 80 људи.
Тренутна Католичка црква у Митровици је саграђена 1975. године. Судећи по Дан Пашк Данију, не може се одбацити чињеница да постоје проблеми у Митровици. Ипак, он гледа на будућност са пуно оптимизма.
